Royal Bay Retail Village will comprise a neighborhood convenience shopping center to include five two-storey buildings laid out over approximately 73,000 sf. The development will form the commercial center of the emerging Royal Bay Community which at completion will provide for 2,500 residential units. The buildings will provide for a 35,000 sf grocery anchor retailer with an additional 10 commercial retail units averaging 3,800 sf. It is anticipated that the center will incorporate a wide range of potential tenants including pharmacy, liquor, café, restaurant, pub, and daycare uses which will be serviced by 269 parking stalls. The development is located approximately 17km from downtown Victoria providing good access for commuters. Construction is scheduled for completion in Spring 2023.
